Overview
 

The electronics needed for the simulator is a combination of ready made boards and self made PC Boards and circuits.  The self-made circuits are mainly designed around the PIC18F4550 microcontroller made by Microchip.  I chose this microcontroller because it has 40 pins and most importantly it is USB enabled.

Angle of Attack Indexer View the Angle of attack of the aircraft when gear is down 0% Angle of Attack Indicator

Gear Lever and Lights Controls the undercarriage and view its position using a series of red and green indicators 33%  
Heading Selector Selects the heading bug value on the PFD 33%  
Left Main Switch Panel Contains most of the left side's switches 20%  
Oxygen Panel Contains the oxygen controls 30%  
Power Control Lever (PCL) Controls the engine power and cut the engine 15%  
Right Main Switch Panel  Contains most of the right hand side's switches light dimmers 30% Right Main Switch Panel
