System Test Panel

Objective

The objective of this task is to create a System Test Panel to be mounted on the left pedestal.  It should interface with a PC via USB using a PIC18F4550 microcontroller.  In turn the USB data should be interfaced with Flight Simulator using SimConnect.

Construction

The construction are done in several parts:

  • Left Pedestal USB Controller Board;
  • 2 LED indicators 
  • 2 Push Button- and 1 Three Position Toggle Switches 
  • Laser Engraved Panel
